Animals can be classified into vertebrates or invertebrates. Animals which are vertebrates are animals which have backbones, while animals which are invertebrates are animals which do not have backbones. Vertebrates are animals with skeleton made of bones in their body. They include fish, birds, mammals, and many more. Their size and mobility often enable them to get used to their environment easily. These are the most advanced organisms on Earth. The way their spinal cords, vertebrae and notochords are structured make them special. Vertebrates are the most advanced organisms on Earth. The traits that differentiate between a vertebrate and an invertebrate is having a spinal cord, vertebrae and notochords. It is all about having a series of nerves along your dorsal side, also known as your back. The notochord is a rod of cartilage helps to give support and protection to our nerves together with our backbone.
For birds, they do not have teeth but they have vestigial tails. They are distinguished from living reptiles by features and the presence of a thin, hollow flight skeleton. Birds have feathers as their outer covering.
For reptiles, the key characteristics of them is that they have an amniotic egg, dry skin and thoracic breathing. For vertebrate amphibians, they include legs, cutaneous respiration, lungs, pulmonary veins, and a partially divided heart. Amphibians are animals whose part of their life are in water while the other part is in land.
There are lesser species of vertebrates than invertebrates, as vertebrates are larger than invertebrates, which also means they need more space. The other reason is that even though they are advanced, there are limitations to the environments that are available to them.
Though there are lesser species of vertebrates, they are indeed smart. In fact, some of them are very smart, which is us. Most vertebrates have advanced nervous systems. While a goldfish could not be compared to a human’s intelligence, when compared to a sea anemone, a goldfish probably be equal to Einstein.

ReplyDeleteI learnt that there are more invertebrates than vertebrates
ReplyDeleteI learnt that vertebrates are the most advanced organism on earth
I have learnt that reptiles have an amniotic egg, dry skin and thoracic breathing.
ReplyDeleteI have also discovered that only a small number of animals are vertebrates but are big and the size is big and they can dominate the environment.

Learnt: Their internal, skeletal structure is highly complex and this allows their body to have greater physical limits, for example they can move faster and they are generally bigger than invertebrates.
ReplyDeleteDiscovered: Due to the fragile nature of their internal systems, they cannot adapt well to different environments and due to their advanced nervous system one could say that they are indeed 'smarter' in certain sense than invertebrates.
I have learn that vertebrates are able to adapt to their environment easier than invertebrates as vertebrates are more advanced than invertebrates.
ReplyDeleteI have learnt that vertebrates are in fact smarter than invertebrates, for example, goldfish are smarter than sea anemones.
ReplyDeleteI learnt that the notochord is a rod of cartilage helps to give support and protection to our nerves together with our backbone.
ReplyDeleteI have learnt that only small percentage of animals are vertebrates.
ReplyDeleteI have learnt that even though vertebrates are more advanced then invertebrates, they have limitations to their environment
I've learnt that generally, vertebrates are larger than invertebrates.
ReplyDeleteI've discovered that vertebrates are the most advanced organisms on earth thus far.
I have learnt that vertebrates are advance animals than invertebrates in terms that they have better protection
ReplyDeleteI have learnt that there are lesser species of vertebrates than invertebrates mainly because vertebrates are larger than invertebrates, which also means they need more space.
ReplyDeleteI have learnt that vertebrates are larger than invertebrates in size, but are smaller in population as they need more space.
ReplyDeleteVertebrates are the most advanced organisms on Earth and can get used to the environment easily unlike most invertebrates. I have also learnt that since most vertebrates like humans have advanced nervous systems, they are smarter.
ReplyDeleteI learnt that there are more invertebrates than vertebrates. Vertebrates are larger than invertebrates and have to adapt to their environment.
ReplyDeleteI learnt that vertebrates have different types of bones that have adapted to their daily activities.
ReplyDeleteI discovered birds are more efficient in flying due to light bones whereas homosapiens are unable to do so without the aid of machines as their bones are heavier.

I have learnt that Vertebrates have backbones and spinal cords.
ReplyDeleteI have discovered that there is a greater population of invertebrates to vertebrates.
I have leanrt that most vertebrates have advanced nervous systems
ReplyDeleteI learnt that birds' skeletons help them fly as well as their tail and most vertebrates are smart compared to invertebrates.
